The Peace of God

Some days I start to pray a while and among other things, I ask God for guidance on topics for posts here and at times, He puts something on my heart that I should write about so I do, and they seem to be something I needed to think about. Other times, I feel like there is something and as I write, well, it doesn’t seem like I am writing things that really address what I thought He wanted me to think about. Then, I think, well, now about what can I write? And, I just start reading in the Bible. Today was a day like that and as I read a little here and there, I came upon this passage and it said a lot to me. Given current circumstances I have some worries that I am following His will for me. I am concerned that I what I think He wants may not be what He truly wants for me. SO, I pray on those things. Now, I really must say, I am not sure what my future holds but I know that no matter what happens, wherever He leads me, He will give me cause to rejoice and that as long as I do my part and seek Christ, He will lead my steps. That knowledge gives me peace. Knowing that what is true, is true and He will make things as He wishes them to be and give me further reason for praise!

4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:4-8

Lord, I praise You and thank You for all that You are, that in times of difficulty You are still worthy of praise, that when I seek You, You will give me Peace. I ask in Jesus Name that You have Your hand on me and guide my words and actions as I make decisions and help me during that time seek You first. That You give me the heart and mind of Christ so I keep my focus and follow You.

I appreciate all those who take time to read my posts. I hope He blesses You all richly and all in turn, bless others.

The Fountain

I was given this bottle from the Fountain of Youth that Ponce de Leon discovered in Florida. I haven’t tried it, but was told the water had a sulfur taste. Maybe youth has a price to pay in the foul taste. Thinking on the fountain of youth, and the efforts that so many go to in life to stay young, or at least young looking. Exercise and diet, coloring gray hair, make up, botox injections, and even surgery for some. All those involved trying to stave off the inevitable effects of aging. Oh, some aspects, particularly a healthy lifestyle with appropriate exercise and a proper diet actually help some, the rest are just bandaids to try to maintain the appearance of youth, but don’t actually do anything to keep one young. All, barring some horrible event, will age and eventually die. I have not seen any information on the life prolonging effects of this water, but would anticipate that it doesn’t do much. If I drink it, I’ll have a bitter taste in my mouth and eventually, get thirsty again.

BUT, there is a true fountain of youth, in a manner of speaking. It doesn’t keep me young physically, but the joy it gives me does keep me young spiritually and mentally. And, no bitter taste! Even better than that, I can try all I want, but I can never drink from the fountain of which I speak, but will NEVER drink too much. On top of that, I won’t get thirsty again! Such an amazingly refreshing and thirst quenching drink I get from the true fountain of youth. No, maybe not physical youth, but this fountain gives me life eternal and how can any pretense at youth be better than that?

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.  Psalms 36:9

Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. Psalms 68:26

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. Revelations 21:6

Many fountains in the Bible. He is the Fountain of Life, not simply youth, but LIFE! Without the waters He gives me, I would cease to exist.

10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:10-14

THIS is the true and only fountain of LIFE! Life eternal with Christ. The fountain of youth, IF it were real, would only give me an extended life on earth, but it is not the life giving waters that Jesus has for us who confess that He is the Son of God, the He sacrificed Himself to die on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave and that we have sinned and ask Him for forgiveness of those sins.

If we do those things, WE ARE FORGIVEN! And, we can drink all we want from the Fountain. WHAT A GLORIOUS GOD WE SERVE! I never fail to be awed and amazed by His love, mercy and grace that He shows me, regardless of how undeserving I am to receive it.

Lord, I praise You and thank You for the Living Waters that You provide for us. That You used a bad situation to bring me to You and let me drink of those waters. That You sacrificed Your Son, Christ, to give me life eternal with You. In Jesus Name I pray that continue Your work in me, help me better seek Christ and be a better vessel for Him. I ask that You draw loved ones to You, show them Your true will and way for them, reveal Your plan for their lives. I pray You further clarify Your plans for my life as well.

In Jesus Precious Name, Amen

Thanks for your time today. PLEASE, take a minute to read the Bible, Pray and DRINK DEEPLY from the fountain of life He has for you. Have a most blessed day and be a blessing to someone else as well.

Read the instructions

I needed to put together some chairs my daughter bought and kinda glanced at the instructions then got started on the first one. Things were going fine pieces fitting together and all with no problems, then not so good. Things weren’t quite right. The last few parts wouldn’t go on because parts I had already put together were in the way. So I took some parts off, put the pieces I needed on and then tried putting the ones I took off back on. Nope, still not right so I did what many hate to do and read the instructions. Once I did that I had to remove several parts then do it according to the instructions. Of course, it all went together fine and chair one was finished after that they all went together pretty quickly. Why didn’t I read the instructions first? Well, pride plain and simple. I’m fairly smart and thought it would be no problem and that I would easily figure it all out. What I figured out is that I should have read the instructions to begin with and I’d have saved myself time and frustration.

Life is that way too, one tries to use their own “intelligence” to figure out how to do things, what path to take and at least for me, failing to spend time in prayer, reading the Bible and seeking God’s guidance and will for me has lead to difficulties, frustration and repeated set backs as I end up struggling to get to the desired end point. Finally, realizing I need to back up and read the instructions. Starting over and actually using His word and will to help me get to build my life in the way He wants. So much of my life would have been far simpler if I had done so all along.

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matthew 15:14

At times I was the blind, trying to lead myself and, yeah, you got it, I fell into a ditch, spiritually and needed a way out of that ditch where I was trapped in the mire of life without Christ.

Behold, thou hast instructed many, and thou hast strengthened the weak hands.  Job 4:3

2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.

Proverbs 1:2-4

Proverbs has so much on instruction from the Lord and it is well worth looking over when you have the opportunity.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;
15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:14-17

Yes, He gives us the instruction we need to build our lives in the way that Christ would have us live and to give us a full and rich life in the Holy Spirit that we all have available if we follow Him.

Lord, I praise You and thank You for the salvation I have been given through the blood of Christ. I ask that You help me better remember the importance of seeking You, Your will for me and that I need to look to Your word and You to know the right way to proceed. That I always remember to seek Your instruction for me. I pray in Jesus name that You help me better have the heart and mind of Christ and that I look to Him for the way ahead in my life. I ask that You continue the work You have started in me that I better serve You. Draw loved ones to You and show us all the plans You have for our lives. For those not saved, help me be an example of Your love for others that they want what You have given me, salvation and forgiveness of my sins through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus.

Thank you all for your time today, I hope all have a blessed day and that you are able to be a blessing to others.

The Offer…ish. Praying to know His will.

Good morning all. Well, a little follow up about the job I have previously mentioned for those interested. I received a text yesterday asking me to give them a call and when I did I was informed that I should expect a formal offer by the end of the week. I was both elated and terrified when I was told. If the offer is right and I accept, it will be a dramatic change in my life. I am somewhat uncertain. I have given it all to God and asked that He lead my way. I don’t yet know what they will offer in regards to pay and benefits and have a figure in mind that if they offer that or more, will consider it a sign from Him.

While I have faith in God, that He will work things out, I also have concerns that I may be trying too hard and trying to put my wishes before His will. I will be spending a lot of time praying about this and ask that all pray for the situation that there be no doubt and that I know it is God working things out for His plans for me. I have too often tried to make things be the way I want and not how Christ would have me do in my life. I am struggling to NOT do so anymore.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 12:31-32

It is my wish to seek Him first, seek to follow Him and live so that it will glorify Christ.

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Maybe He is trying to teach me more faith, more trust. I pray I have the discernment to know it is from Him and the faith to follow Christ as He guides me.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5

I am praying for wisdom that I know His will and that I have the faith to follow.

Lord, Praise You for all Your glory. I thank You for the blessings and my salvation. I praise Jesus for the sacrifice He made for me with His death on the cross. I pray in Jesus name that I know Your will and plans, that You give me the wisdom to understand and that I not put my way before Yours. That You give me the faith to follow Your wishes for me. I ask that You draw us all closer to You and that we all come to know Christ as our savior.

Thanks for the visit, your time and your prayers. I hope He blesses you all today and that each is able to be a blessing to others.

Grace and Mercy

Sometimes I think about how I have been given salvation and I feel the freedom and joy of that redemption. It is a GOOD feeling, but I also think how unworthy I was and that none of it is because of me. I reflect on what a gracious and merciful Lord I serve and the gifts he has given me that I do not deserve. And, I praise Him for the grace and mercy.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:4-9

So, not much more to say today other than to give Him all the glory and to thank Him.

Lord, I praise Your Holy Name and thank You for the gift of salvation, for the redemption of my sins when I was so unworthy of the sacrifice Christ made for me. I pray in Jesus name that You continue Your work in me and help me to become at least a little worthy of all the grace and mercy I have been given. Please draw my loved ones to You that we all know Your mercy and the salvation You will give if one only believe in Christ and ask forgiveness of their sins.

He said it, and it was so.

Looking out the front window at the sunrise this morning I got to thinking about how God created everything. He said, “let there be light and there was light.” is really a powerful statement. He just said it, and it happened. I am amazed at what a mighty and powerful God He is and how He did all He did for us. He had a plan for creation and a plan for us all. He HAS a plan for all of us I should say. Sadly, we sometimes get in the way of His plans. The most amazing thing (although, it really should not be amazing)  I have noticed in my life is that when I stop trying to be in charge and give things to Him, He makes things better and leads me as He wants me to go. When I follow God and seek Christ all things are better. Oh, there are challenges at times, but those challenges are so much easier to face when He is with me and in control.

But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Luke 12:31

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12

Just amazing that God created all He did and then, when mankind did not do as we should have done, He sent His Son to lead us, to sacrifice Himself and to redeem us.

Lord, I praise Your Holy Name and thank You for the creation of all. I thank You for the sacrifice Christ made for me that I may have salvation. I pray in Jesus Name that You continue to help me seek His light, and that I seek You first. Help me continue to grow in Christ. I glorify You and ask that You draw us all closer to You and teach us how to better seek Christ and to know the true light that You wish us to have so we can see our paths in life better and know that we are following You as You want us to follow. Help us all be the servants You desire us to be for Your glory.

Thanks for the visit. I hope all are able to bask in the glory of the light He made for us. Have a blessed day.

Thank God It’s Friday! and, THANK GOD I AM FORGIVEN!!!!!!!

I don’t work a regular schedule, but it just so happens that this week Friday is the last of several days working in a row and I am off for a couple days which will give me a chance to catch up on chores around the house and hopefully relax a bit. But, as I was getting around, praying a bit and getting ready to read in the Bible I realized that, even though I would usually, okay, ALWAYS rather do something besides go to work, but even though there are many things at work that make it frustrating, since I returned to Christ I have found the frustrations much easier to tolerate and many things that would have not only frustrated me, but made me angry, no longer bother me very much at all. I am far more tolerant, accepting and don’t let things upset me. That is not from me but thanks to the works that Jesus has performed in me.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  2 Corinthians 5:17

It was not very long ago that I was cold, bitter, angry and very intolerant of any thing. That was due to a variety of circumstances, some issues from Iraq, work, home, family and life in general. I’m not saying that to justify the attitude but to just say I had a lot of different things causing stress. I had improved over the years, a lot in the last few, thanks to a friend that helped very much but no matter how much other people could help, the help I really needed could, and did, only come from God. He has given me a peace and comfort that nothing else ever could give. He has replaced sorrow with joy. He redeemed me of my sins and given me salvation. What a mighty and amazing God we serve. Praise His Holy Name.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4

28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.  Matthew 11:28-30

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.         Ephesians 2:8-9

He is a merciful and gracious Savior. He saved me when I did not deserve it and has given me comfort beyond anything I have known without Him.

My Dear Lord, I praise You and thank You for my salvation, for the comfort and the change in my heart. I give all the glory for those changes to You for without You, they would not have been possible. Thank You for the sacrifice Christ made to redeem me. In Jesus name I pray that You continue the work in me to help me better walk with Jesus and to better have the heart and mind of Christ. I pray that You draw my loved ones and me, closer to You that we may all serve You and be examples of Your works. Show us all Your true will and way in our lives. I pray for those suffering in any way that You deliver them from their circumstances, give them peace and comfort. Show them Your love and mercy as You have shown me.

Thanks to all for the visit and your time. Have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend. Try to be a blessing to others as you go about your days.

Interview follow up

Thank you to those that prayed for my situation. Things seemed to go well. In my field, it isn’t like some interviews where they try to figure out if you know what you need to know as that is pretty much a given if one gets to the point professionally to be eligible for the job. It’s more about how one fits in with the others in the workplace and interacts with the patients with whom we deal.

I thought I would share how it went, and in my mind it went well, very well. Interestingly enough, one patient had her fiancé with her who I happened to know and sort of worked with years ago. He seemed very excited to see me and hear that I was considering working there and made sure to tell the person I was spending most of the day with that she needed to do all she could to make sure I was hired and asked if she thought a recommendation or such from a patient would help make sure it happened.

I have prayed long and hard about the situation as I mentioned, I want this to be God’s plan for me, and not my own so I do ask that all continue to pray about it and help me be sensitive to His guidance.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.        Psalms 32:8

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalms 25:4-5

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1

ESPECIALLY, the last one! I don’t want to be my own false prophet and push myself into a situation that is not of God. I’ve done so in the past and He won’t stop me if I were to do so again, but I don’t want to do that. I want to follow Christ and take the steps that He plans for me. I would appreciate continued prayers on this that He have His hand in the situation and that I am sensitive to the will of God and keep myself out of His way.

Lord, Praise Your Holy Name. I thank You for all You have done for me. I pray in Jesus Name that You have YOUR hand on the job situation and the rest of my life. That I be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and follow Your lead and not try to put myself in charge. Make me receptive to Your will for me. I pray too for those in need, whether it be financial, work related, those needing jobs or needing a change, for those who have health concerns, struggles in their personal lives and relationships. Move in all our lives that we follow Christ and His will and way for us. Draw us all closer.

Thank you all for stopping by and especially thanks to those who offered prayers for this situation. I hope all have a blessed day, and please, be an example of Christ today and try to be a blessing to at least one other person.

Azimuth Check

I was on my way to work the other day and I saw a group of soldiers on base doing what is called a land navigation exercise. (I work on a military base.) They were divided into groups of 4 and 3 groups were at a check point and starting out for the next point but all headed in a slightly different direction. I know there is more than one way to get to the final destination, but usually there is one right way so one, or all, of the groups were possibly headed in the wrong direction. I knew something was going to happen, so I decided to stop and watch a few minutes. Well it wasn’t more than a couple minutes and 2 of the groups were off course and, the Army being the Army, there were instructors watching them and they called the 2 groups back to the check point and started talking to them, in a typically loud and obnoxious manner. First, the Army does that to try to reinforce critical information hoping that the soldiers take the lesson to heart, but more importantly they stopped them before they got into a potentially dangerous situation. They also wanted to be sure that the soldiers learned what they had done wrong so they could learn from the mistake.

The exact wording was slightly different but overall the same message to both of the groups. They were told they were off course and asked why they were stopped and what they did wrong to make it necessary. No one seemed to know. They were told what happened, what they were doing or not doing, that made it necessary to stop them. They had forgotten to do azimuth checks before moving to the next check point. An azimuth check is when you use the map and compass you were given for the exercise and using known locations, make sure you know where you are and to where you are going. Making sure that the compass did not get bumped or damaged, that you did not forget check the map and that you are in fact, heading toward the goal. Failing to do an azimuth check often results in getting lost, if in a combat situation that can mean you walk straight into the enemy, wander to a target for an air or artillery strike or otherwise get yourself into a dangerous situation. These soldiers would have eventually made it to their check points, but would have had some difficulties on the way due to failure to make sure they were heading in the right direction, failing to take the correct path. They were “corrected” and then went on to do the azimuth checks and got back on course.

Watching that, it got me to thinking about how at times in the past I have failed to do an azimuth check spiritually. I know certain points Christ wants me to reach, or other times come to a crossroads spiritually and need to check my spiritual compass, my Bible, and make sure I proceed on the path He wants me to take to get to the desired destination. Sometimes I get far off track and desperately need to do an azimuth check, spend time in prayer, studying the Bible and seeking the Lord to know how to get back on track. While it is a simple thing in one regard, as one must only pray for the forgiveness He will give if we ask, sometimes the circumstances we are in at the time are not as easy to get ourselves out off  them. But, if we are faithful, seek Him and are sincere He will deliver us. At times, some may look too hard for the deliverance and find a path that is not correct and while God may not want us in a certain situation, He will not require us to compromise our faith to get on the right path. Sadly, I have seen some do just that, sort of like some soldiers I have seen take a path through a swamp to get to where they should be, some Christians will take a path that leads them into undesirable situations that He does not want us in. The path back to God is not a hard path, but it is not always easy either. Sometimes, getting back to where He wants us requires sacrifice but many do not want to sacrifice to get away from a bad environment or they don’t want to move slowly, they want to be in the spot they believe they should be and will compromise to get there. But, the periodic azimuth checks, seeking Him, will help us know the right path to take to get out of a bad situation without doing wrong to get to where he wants us to be for Him.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. James 4:17

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. James 4:6-10

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:5-7

No, we cannot get to where we feel we want to be, or where He wants us through our works, only through Him. Even if we know what is right, but do wrong thinking it will get us to the right place are sinning. One must seek HIM to obtain salvation, find His will and His way in our lives. Other methods doom us to sin and failure, we will find ourselves in a swamp that was as bad as where we started if we do not follow Him and seek Him in our efforts to reach the proper place in our lives. I have at times failed to do the right checks and other times, despite knowing I was proceeding in the wrong direction, I went took the path I knew not to take. Praise God that He still forgives when I repent and ask Him to forgive me. Christ paid a tremendous price that I could have that forgiveness and salvation. I am much better about doing my azimuth checks and seeking His guidance rather than trying to follow my own plans for life. He has a much better path for me.

Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace that I don’t deserve. Praise You for the forgiveness and for the sacrifice Christ made for me. I ask in Jesus Name that You continue the work You have started in me and continue to teach me Your way and not my own. Help me have the understanding of Your wishes for me. I pray that You work in the hearts and minds of me and my loved ones to draw us all closer to You. Give us all the understanding of His will for us.

I appreciate the visits and your time. Please take time to be a blessing to at least one person and have a blessed day.

Sneak attack.

Well, I have been accused of doing some things over last few months that I hadn’t done. And, sadly, I have been told by someone that I absolutely do not doubt, that the one that actually did those things was one of my loudest, harshest, most cruel accusers who had called me any number of terrible names and has attacked my character repeatedly, spreading half truths and untruths. I suppose I really should be angry to have been done that way, but thanks to God, I no longer have that in me. Instead, I pity the person and pray for them. Hoping that God will work on them to move them to be honest and more importantly, come to know Christ. Despite this person professing to know Him, the actions are far removed from those He expects of us.

So, praise the Lord, I forgive the offender, I pray for them and hope for Christ to work in their life to bring them to Him.

1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:1-7

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2 John 1:8-11

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.          Ephesians 4:31-32

As I said, I will be praying for this person. But, the tender heart and forgiveness is not my doing, I give all glory for the change in me, my outlook and response to Christ.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.  2 Corinthians 1:12

I praise the God for the changes He has made in me and I give Him all the glory for those changes.

Lord, I praise Your Holy name and worship You for all You have done for me. Thank You for the salvation You gave me. I praise You for helping me better have the heart of Christ who died on the cross for my sins. I ask in Jesus name that You continue to work in my heart and help me better serve and know Him. Please work in the hearts of those who attack other people and accuse them falsely. Show them all the errors of their ways.

I pray that You work in the hearts and minds of loved ones and help draw us all closer to You and have Your way in all of our lives.

Thanks for the visit, I hope all are well and that He is blessing you all richly. Be sure to be a blessing to someone else today.
