“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
I have days where I feel so strongly that I am sure of God’s plan for me. Things are proceeding exactly as I feel He plans, then, things slow down, take a detour and I begin to wonder if I was placing my thoughts in place and it wasn’t His intent. Then, I pray, spend time asking Christ for help and guidance. Seeking Him and His will. Then, I try to be patient and listen to what He wants me to know.
And, while I wait on Him, I continue to pray that He be with me, walk with me as I wait for things to work out to His plan, wait for job options to work out to His plan, wait for Him to show me more of what He has in store for me. Sometimes, while waiting, I feel tired and weak. But, there is always hope in Christ.
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31
Yes, He will renew my strength, make me able to run and not be weary. He will give me the strength to stay the course He has laid before me.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. Mark 9:23-24
Yes when I get tired, start to doubt, He strengthens me. He helps me have the faith and makes me able to believe what may seem unbelievable.
Lord, I praise You. I worship You and glorify Your name. I thank You for all the blessings that I have now, and that are to come in my future. I pray that You make me receptive to Your guidance, sensitive to Your wishes. I ask that You continue to make me more of the servant for Christ I should be to be a better example in the world. I pray You work in the hearts and minds of loved ones, draw them to You and show them Your will for their lives. I thank You for my salvation and your mercies.
Thanks for stopping by, just some days, feel a little less sure, a little beat down or tired, and I need to find His instruction, draw inspiration from His word. I hope this helps someone else out there too. Try to be a blessing to others as you go through your day.
