faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Faith is sometimes not as simple as I would like it to be but then, if it were easy, it wouldn’t be rewarding. I have times I get down, start to doubt, not in God, not that Jesus is the son of God whose sacrifice made it possible for me to obtain salvation. No, sometimes, things for which one prays seems so far away as to seem unattainable. But, I hold to His word.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

And, I continue with the prayers, praying for God to help me have the mind and heart of Christ, asking He help me be a better example for Him and in showing His grace, seeking to better serve Christ, asking Jesus to give me guidance on the path He has for me. Oh, there are other things, the right job and some other things. I pray He has his hand in things.

Jesus, I praise you and your Father, I thank you for your sacrifice for me, my forgiveness and your mercies. I ask that you continue to work in my heart and mind, give me the guidance and understanding of your will and plan for my life. I ask that you open the right job, at the right location, that you work on me to make me a better example of your work. I ask that you work in my heart to help me have more, stronger, unlimited faith in you. I pray you work in the hearts and minds of loved ones, show them your way for them and move in their lives that they be drawn to you.

Well, thanks for reading. I hope someone out there can find something helpful in this and my other posts.
