I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. Psalms 109:30

Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever. Psalms 106:1

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

So much guidance to Praise and Worship the Lord. Many times a day I do worship Him and savor the joy He provides. He is a great and Mighty God that gives us so abundantly and blesses us richly.

Sometimes, I wonder if I focus on the negative too much with my posts. Well, not really negative, as I always learn something, but some of the lessons are because of negative experiences, emotions, and such, and I look hard at myself on those issues, because those are the things I need to change. I have good traits, good habits, good behaviors, but those, I don’t need to work on, just make sure they don’t get bad. The bad stuff, well, that needs changing. All that being said, I still rejoice at the woes, because by identifying those areas that I need to improve, and that I need to be sure to seek Him as they occur, I am growing spiritually and getting closer to Him.

I hope that I am conveying that message He put into my heart. He is teaching me a lot about myself, by seeing what I need to improve for Him.

I have mentioned the military before, our after action reviews. We always look at some good and some bad. But, the bad is what really teaches us how to improve. I use that same approach to trying to improve my walk with Christ. Find what did not go right, see what I can learn on what needs done to improve it and then apply what I learn. So far, it is working.

Lord, I praise your Holy name and thank you for all the blessings and mercy, the lessons, some easy to learn and apply, some that require more effort to understand and even more to incorporate into my life. I thank you for taking me from where I was and bringing me so far an look forward to more and more improvements. I thank you for the faith to know you will work in the lives of family and others to bring them to you as well.

Well, short one this time, but I did want others to understand why sometimes the negative seems to be more prominent, it is so I can learn from my mistakes so I don’t repeat them.

Thanks to those that read my blog. Please feel free to share or comment.

      1. I enjoy reading your posts. The Lord will use you to encourage others. May you be blessed with many opportunities to share the good news of salvation.

      2. Thank you. He put a burden on me to try to share so can try to help others. I’ve been reading some of your posts and enjoy them as well. And. Must admit. Seeing if there are things I can glean not only spiritually but for helping me improve my blog as well.
